Gummies - Help!

The idea for Project Photo started back in 2007 when I was looking for a way to organize some of my photo projects. At the time I had grand ideas for a website – one where others would be able to sign-up and participate in various projects as well as start their own. I quickly realized that a site like that would be too time consuming so I quickly developed a simple little site which allowed me to track projects only for myself.

While it worked well for my needs I still felt like the site could be a whole lot more. I still wanted to allow others to join in on projects, comment, and be given credit in a way that wasn’t so taxing to me. After about 2 years of leaving the old website sit idle – a wedding and the birth of my my first child will do that – I decided that it was time to port the site to WordPress. I wanted to have the same old look and feel to the site, but with more options. So a custom WordPress theme was created and here we sit now.

If you wish to participate in any of the projects please contact me and let me know. I’ll set up a user name and password for you and provide you with all the information that you’ll need to get started. Or if you don’t want to be hassled with putting the image up yourself we can skip the user name and password and I can always add an image for you. You get credit of course – an your own photographer biography page too.
